Alex is an extractive metallurgist by trade, and a self-taught APL developer through his 18 years working with the application METSIM®, which was, until recently, 100% written in APL+Win. Since January 2024 Alex has worked with Dyalog Ltd to convert METSIM® to Dyalog APL, and is continuing to develop his APL skills with Dyalog APL.
Alex will be presenting Lessons Learned when Converting from APL+Win to Dyalog APL on Monday 29 September at 1:30 PM.
DYNA Fall 2025 is an in-person only event. Registration is essential to ensure we can accommodate all attendees comfortably and plan appropriate refreshments. Please note that lunch and refreshments during breaks are included on both days, but evening meals and accommodation are not.
Day 1 (presentations) is free to attend, Day 2 (workshops) is $250 for the whole day.
